Walker emphasized that he alone is to blame and understands the importance of owning up to his mistakes. Despite contemplating leaving Manchester City amidst the scandal, he ultimately decided against it, recognizing the significance of being close to his family during this difficult time. Walker's actions come after a previous incident in 2020 where he held a party at his home in violation of lockdown measures, for which he had to apologize as well.
